November round-up

At last, my Christmas card range is finished and as I speak, a big parcel of cards is making it's way to me from the lovely printers. All that remains for me to do when they arrive, is photograph them and pop them in the shop.

I’ll admit that I did make heavy weather of designing them, as inspiration was slow to come and I tried out many unsuccessful attempts along the way. But now that they're finished, I'm really pleased with how the range looks (and also very ready to do something non-Christmassy!). The cards measure 14.8 x 14.8 cm and are printed on luxurious, heavy card stock. They will be sold in packs of 8 with brown, recycled envelopes.

This also marks a tremendous milestone for me as (shamefully) it's the first year where I will actually be able to send people my own Christmas cards that I made, instead of having to buy other people’s and feel like a failed illustrator yet again! So hurray for that!

I’ve also been thinking about how I want the blog to evolve and for the foreseeable, it makes sense if I post things a little less often and instead catch up at the end of each month for a round-up of what’s been happening.

As always, you can check my facebook page for more frequent updates.
