Pelican Pattern
This was the second fabric design I was commissioned to create for ILO, a Bristol based children's clothing company. ILO asked me to create a pattern that was designed to be used any way up as this allows for much more of the fabric to be used, thereby reducing textile waste.
The result was a pattern where shoals fish appear to swirl around the pelicans as they swoop and dive.
